Radio Systems:

The radio control (R/C) system is the heart of our hobby. This magic box can turn a lifeless submarine into a graceful diver. The first thing you need to decide is how much you want your model to do. For each control function, you need one channel of control. The usual uses for control channels in RC submarines are:
1  Control Channel....Rudder
2  Control Channel...Diving Planes
3  Control Channel....Speed Control
4  Control Channel....Ballast System

For additional equipment and features you may want to add to your model at a later point, you will need a radio system which offers more than 4 channels such as the Laser6 from HITEC. It's a good idea to keep this in mind when you select your radio system below.
